Learn About Emu Oil
What is emu oil, and why should I use it?
Pure emu oil is an omega rich oil that has a unique and beneficial fatty acid composition. It is mainly comprised of Omega 3 EFA (Linolenic Acid), Omega 6 EFA (Linoleic Acid) and Omega 9 (Oleic Acid).
These fatty acids are needed by the body for proper function. Both Omega 3 and 6 are Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's). This means that our bodies can not produce them and must rely on us getting them from an outside source such as through our diets or through dermal absorption.
Pure emu oil is highly penetrating and can also be used as a transdermal carrier. Despite the fact that it is an oil, it is non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging) and it is hypo-allergenic. It is also non-toxic and is a non-ocular irritant (won't irritate your eyes).
Use this remarkable oil on your face, hands, and all parts of the body to help you look and feel your best. From each drop you will receive multiple benefits.
What's the difference between regular emu oil and ultra clear emu oil?
We provide two distinct pure emu oil options: Regular and Ultra Clear.
Regular emu oil, a blend of lighter and heavier fractions, features a rich, creamy consistency.
Ultra Clear emu oil, with the heavier fractions removed, maintains a liquid consistency at room temperature and provides faster skin absorption.
Why should I choose emu oil from Uniquely Emu Products?
We only produce and sell fully refined emu oil that is sourced from our network of US emu farms.
All of our emu oil is guaranteed to be 100% pure. We never use fillers, dyes, perfumes, or mix in other types of oils. Each batch has been independently tested to ensure its purity.
We ensure consumer safety by packaging all products with tamper-evident seals.
We support America by doing all of our manufacturing and packaging right here in the US.
Why is it important to only use Fully Refined emu oil?
Making sure that emu oil is Fully Refined is important since it is easy absorbed by your body.
Rest assured that all of the emu oil you purchase from us has been tested and verified to be Fully Refined.
We do this by properly processing our emu oil and then having it tested by an independent laboratory. The laboratory produces a Certified of Analysis (COA) that provides a detailed breakdown of the oil's composition and characteristics. The resulting COA details are then verified to meet to the stringent specifications listed in the Emu Oil Trade Rules for Fully Refined Emu Oil.
This Fully Refined specification for pure emu oil is primarily for the safety of the consumer. By adhering to this established quality standard we can produce a safer product for our customers.
We even go one step further. By testing for certain fatty acids we can verify that the oil is truly pure emu oil and not cut or adulterated with some other types of oils.
Why do you use emu oil in your product formulations?
Emu oil is an excellent ingredient because of its contribution of health fatty acids and anti-inflammatory benefits; it also serves as a transdermal carrier oil for other ingredients in our formulas.
We use emu oil in all of our product formulations to help ensure maximum efficacy.
This is achieved through the careful blending of our pure emu oil along with natural, high quality botanical ingredients.
The resulting exclusive formulations achieve a synergistic impact, which enhances their performance making them a great value for your money.
Can emu oil be used as a dietary supplement?
While all our emu oil is refined to food-grade standards, only our Ultra Emu Oil Dietary Supplements are manufactured, packaged, and labeled for internal consumption as per FDA regulations.
All other pure emu oil products are intended and labeled for topical, cosmetic use.
