Emu Eggshell Grade A With Hole In Large End

These beautiful green Emu Eggshells are ideal for many types of egg arts & crafts such as: etching, carving, painting, Fabergé decorating, pysanky, etc.

These are genuine blown-out empty eggshells.

Grade A - These are top quality whole eggshells. Each egg has been meticulously cleaned and inspected by hand to ensure that you receive only the very best quality when ordering a Grade A eggshell. They are the best choice if you are looking for an eggshell that is ready for display in its natural state. They are also a good choice if you want an eggshell in near perfect condition for carving, decorating or painting. Since these are real eggshells there may be natural color and texture variations.

Emu eggs have three layers: the inner most layer is white; the middle layer is teal green; and the outer layer is a darker green textured coating. These distinctively colored layers allow artists to etch or carve into them giving their artwork a three dimensional look even without painting.

All of our eggshells are blown, cleaned, sanitized, and ready for display or further decorating. No polish is used on the exterior. Each egg is individually wrapped to protect it during shipping.

They are perfect for the hobbyist or just for a beautiful, unique display or centerpiece.

Emu Eggshells are naturally a green color with a slightly textured outer layer. However, colors may vary from light green to very dark green and some will be more heavily textured than others. These natural variances make each Emu eggshell unique and one of a kind.

Sizes will vary from approximately 5-7 inches tall & 10-14 inch in circumference. The hole will be approximately 1/4- 1/3 of an inch across and will be located in the large end of the eggshell.
